Save Me From Tomorrow

A Story of Generation X Abroad

“Super book, really detailed view into the speakers life and a good feel of all other characters, that Val! What a whirlwind.”

In a time before smartphones, email and the internet, a young writer decides to take off in search of inspiration, romance and, above all, a good story. It’s the early 1990s, and at the age of twenty-three, he gives up his job in Manhattan and plans to explore America in the spirit of his literary hero, Jack Kerouac. But a chance meeting with an old friend and the appearance of a beautiful and intriguing girl named Val alters his plans and shifts his location to London.

Once in London, he and Val both start working in different pubs, and each become entangled with a diverse array of Londoners and American expatriates, all with tales to tell and secrets to hide. While continuing his pursuit of Val, and still searching for that perfect story, his own life and the lives of his fellow travelers begin to converge. He will get his story in the end, but it won’t be anything he ever expected.

...a group of wealthy suburbanites behaving
badly in the freewheeling 1970s...

In Someone Else's Pocket

Escape to the summer of 1972 and dive into this page-turning tale of adults behaving badly.

5.0 out of 5 stars – “This is a sexy and exciting take of what happens behind closed doors. Well written and a fast read. I dare you to put it down. Curl up and crawl into the sexuality of these interesting people and see how closely related sex and power can be. The twists and turns will keep you engaged and turning those pages quickly. Enjoy!!”

One summer evening, in a wealthy American suburb, four couples are having drinks at their exclusive country club. After several rounds, one member of the group suggests that they should have a key party. The logistics are: Each woman places her keys in a bowl, and each man will pick a set of keys. The holder and owner of the keys are then matched up to conclude the real purpose of the evening. Not wanting to be viewed as out of step with the times, they all agree that they are adults, and it’s just one night. It won’t mean anything, right?

This simple idea quickly snowballs into a complicated chain of events full of manipulation, twists and turns. The “meaningless” key party reveals deep, hidden secrets. Nothing is as it seems. Everything is at stake.

In Someone Else’s Pocket is a story of how your friends, neighbors, and business associates use their money, power and influence to spin a tangled web of love, lust, lies and deceit.

...or a newly elected Mayor trying revive a broken
American city’s musical past as two rival drug dealers

The Blue Zone

Murder, Mayhem and the Blues

5.0 out of 5 stars!
“A real page turner. Great thriller storyline.”

In the City of Blues, newly elected Mayor Candace Washington inherited a crime and drug problem that was spiraling out of control. The city used to be the center of blues music in the United States, but those days vanished like music in the night. Businesses went bust, people moved out, and the sweet sound of the blues was replaced with the wail of police sirens.

But Mayor Washington has a plan. A plan to bring back businesses, people and the music. She sets out to create The Blue Zone, a ten-by-ten block area where crime will disappear. Three years into her term, the plan seems to be working. Crime is down, business is booming and once again, the beat of blues fills the air every night.

But not everything is as it seems and not everyone wants the mayor to succeed. A murder in the heart of The Blue Zone during the mayor’s re-election year ignites a war between rival drug lords, both which have their own ideas about who is in control of the city. What follows is a race to solve this crime and restore order before the city is plunged into further chaos. Mayor Washington knows the city’s future, as well as her own, is riding on it.
