I’m walking on the sunset
The earth is glowing beneath my feet
Though it does not burn
It soothes, calms, leads me back home
I follow the sun to the edge of a forest
This has to be a dream
The root balls of the trees
Dangle above me like black clouds
As I weave through this forest
Towards my home
With the sunset beneath me
How could this not be a dream?
There is no forest near my home There is no path through to get there Yet here I am, trudging along With the sun warming my feet…
